2. Price

Our prices are inclusive of all charges (fixed price for water, electricity, heating, WiFi, NETFLIX - unless otherwise stated in the description) with the exception of the tourist tax (art.6) which needs to be paid at the time of booking. Our prices are given for information only, subject to error or omission. The booking of a stay is only effective upon receipt by our secure payment system of the full price of the stay. Upon receipt of this payment, Mountain Suite considers that the client accepts the terms, conditions, services and prices of their stay. He cannot claim to have made a mistake because he himself entered the information. The prices appearing on the website are subject to change at any time without prior notice. These changes are inapplicable to reservations for which availability has been confirmed by Mountain Suite. The price is established according to a specific number of people. If the number of participants is lower than the number provided for in the contract, the price remains the same, on the other hand if the number of participants is higher, the price is revised upwards to take account of the increases in fixed and variable charges which are the consequence.


3. Booking

The Buyer can book on the web site www.mountainsuite.fr. Bookings on the web site are reserved for Users who have previously read and accepted, without exception, all of the General Conditions of Sale prior to the booking and purchase procedure. Full acceptance of the General Conditions of Sale is materialized by the User's electronic signature, consisting of the validation of a checkbox and the communication of his personal and / or bank details. By express agreement, this electronic signature has the value of a handwritten signature between the parties. Without the User's electronic signature, the order cannot be finalized. In this regard, it is the Buyer's responsibility to ensure that the contact details he provides when making his booking are correct and that they will enable him to receive confirmation of his booking. In the event that the Buyer does not receive this confirmation, it is his responsibility to contact Mountain Suite. Under no circumstances can Mountain Suite be held responsible if the Purchaser does not receive confirmation of the order due to an error of entering his contact details. A booking made on the web site might be refused in the event of unavailability or circumstances likely to adversely affect your safety or the quality of the Service offered. The booking contract is concluded between 2 parties, any modification concerning the Buyer must be notified to the seller by e-mail no later than 24 hours before the start of the trip.

By making his booking, the Buyer agrees to respect the house rules during his stay:

arrival between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. (late arrival possible with prior notice subject to written confirmation by Mountain Suite),

departure before 10 am,

• end-of-stay cleaning is included, excluding washing-up and trash,

• the apartment is entirely non-smoking,

• animals are not allowed in the apartment,

parties are strictly prohibited,

quiet hours between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. must be respected,

• cleanliness in the common areas of the apartment block must be respected,

• a supplement for a late check-out between 10 am and 12 pm will be applied: € 50. For any departure after 12pm, the relevant nightly rate will apply. Late departure and applied fees do not give the right to extend the stay without prior booking.


If the Purchaser does not comply with House Rules, Mountain Suite reserves the right to terminate the contract or to apply an increase. No refund can be made in the event of cancellation of the stay due to non-compliance with the regulations. All bookings on the site www.mountainsuite.fr must be accompanied by an amount representing 100% of the total price of the booking. Only payment by credit card is accepted.


4. Payment conditions

Bookings are ensured by online credit card payment (Visa or Mastercard) and PayPal. You will be asked for the 16 digits and the expiry date of your bank card as well as the last 3 digits which appear on the back of the card. The agreement of the central network of bank cards and the effective debit of your bank account will make your order effective. If the central bank card network refuses, Mountain Suite reserves the right to cancel the reservation. Mountain Suite reserves the right to ask its client a copy of his identity card, his telephone number and the time to reach him as well as the contact details of the bank that manages his credit card or his account.


5. Modificaiton or cancellation of the booking


5.1 Client requesting for modification

The customer can modify his booking by sending a written request to Mountain Suite by e-mail. Changes result in the sending of an amendment to the initial booking indicating the additional amount that will be due. Any changes in date of stay by the customer constitute a cancellation of his initial order and registration of a new order under the conditions described above. Requests for changes to bookings must be made in writing to Mountain Suite. The acceptance of the modification by Mountain Suite results from the application of a supplement or a refund depending on the date of request and the cancellation conditions.


5.2 Client partially or completely cancelling his booking

Any cancellation must be notified to Mountain Suite by return email. The deductions below are from the date the mail has been sent. Mountain Suite will reimburse the sums paid, minus the sums withheld as penalties according to the following scale:

• Free cancellation (except service charges) up to 30 full days before the local arrival time or 4pm.

• If cancellation occurs less than 30 days and more than 15 days before arrival, the first night and 50% of all subsequent nights as well as the service charge are not refundable.

• There is no refund for cancellations 15 days before arrival. The same policy applies for travelers who arrive and decide to leave before the scheduled check-out date. 

Under no circumstances can these sums be carried over to another stay. Any cancellation of the reservation is calculated according to the cancellation fee scale above.


5.3 Mountain Suite modifying or cancelling client’s booking

In the event of external circumstances that are imposed on the seller, Mountain Suite may be required to modify or cancel your booking. In the event that the reservation is modified on an essential element or canceled by Mountain Suite, the customer must within 24 hours of having been informed in writing on the customer's email either terminate his reservation and obtain a refund or accept the suggested modification. In the absence of a response within this period, the customer is deemed to have refused the modification. In the event of cancellation due to Mountain Suite, you will obtain immediate reimbursement of all the sums paid without charge or penalty, but the cancellation can in no case give rise to damages.


6. Right of withdrawal

The withdrawal period for web purchases does not apply to tourist services (article L121-20-4 of the Consumer Code). Consequently, and in accordance with the legislative provisions, no request for reimbursement following a web sale can be taken into account once the reservation has been confirmed.


7. The tourist tax

The payment of the tourist tax is made at the time of booking with Mountain Suite. This is donated directly to the municipality of Annecy. Its amount is calculated per day and per person aged 18 and over. For furnished accommodation classified 4 stars: 1.45 € Please indicate the exact number of persons aged 18 and over staying in the accommodation. A control can be carried out on site by Mountain Suite. Are exempt from the tax, according to article L.2333-31 of the CGCT: • minors • holders of a seasonal employment contract employed in the community • people benefiting from emergency accommodation or temporary relocation


8. Deposit

Each Mountain Suite booking needs to be backed up by a deposit of € 700 for the stay that client has to pay by credit card. The deposit amount is approved and managed by the SWIKLY company. Arrival in the apartment is subject to approvel of the deposit. The deposit allows Mountain Suite to protect itself against damage or any unpaid debts owed by the traveler when leaving the apartment. The apartment will be inspected and damage can be noticed a maximum of 72 hours after the customer has left. Proof (photo, invoice) will be sent to the customer in writing to justify a possible deduction from the amount of the deposit.


9. Inventory

Mountain Suite ensures client enters in a clean and equipped apartment as stated in the apartment description. Beds are made upon arrival and towels provided. Any complaint concerning the inventory or the cleanliness of the apartment must be made no later than 24 hours after arrival, in writing. After this period, the customer will be considered to have tacitly acknowledged the accuracy of the inventory and the cleanliness of the accommodation. The customer is required to take good care of the rented property ensuring everything is left in order. The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the holidaymaker during the rental period.


10. Responsibility

Mountain Suite makes sure the client’s stay is as enjoyable as possible, without however being able to be held responsible for fortuitous events, cases of force majeure or due to third parties. However, even in these latter assumptions, Mountain Suite will endeavor to seek appropriate solutions to overcome the difficulties that have arisen. The photos illustrating the services are not contractual. Construction work: Unexpected construction work may be undertaken near guest accommodation. Mountain Suite accepts no responsibility for any nuisance caused and has no influence on the progress of work in the building where the apartment is located. The customer will not be able to request compensation.


11. Complaints / disputes

In the event of any complaint or difficulty encountered during your stay, you have the obligation to immediately notify Mountain Suite on site so that a solution can be quickly brought to you. Any complaint, dispute or dispute relating to the stay must be sent by e-mail with acknowledgment of receipt to Mountain Suite no later than 24 hours after your departure. Any complaint made after this deadline cannot be taken into consideration.


12. Linguistic divergence

In the event that the general conditions have been translated into one or more foreign languages, only the text of the general conditions of sale written in French will prevail in the event of any discrepancy.
